Run a retrospective without a login
Looptro opens an anonymous retro with no account, no email address, and no card. Pick a template, type a display name, and share one link. Everyone who opens the link joins as a guest and starts typing. Looptro then deletes the retro 24 hours after you create it. Run it on the day you need it.
What you get, and what you do not
The free anonymous retro is the whole retro, not a trimmed demo. It costs you one thing: the board does not last.

- Persistence. Looptro deletes the retro 24 hours after you create it. The delete is permanent, and it takes the posts, the votes, and the action items with it.
- A file download or a REST API. You can copy the retro summary to your clipboard as Markdown before the window closes.
- An audit log, or an MCP server for an AI agent to call.
- Action items that carry forward. Each anonymous retro stands on its own and carries nothing into the next one.
- More than 5 retros per browser per day, or more than one active retro at a time.
The 24 hours, exactly
The clock starts when you create the retro. It does not extend when people post, vote, or join. When the 24 hours end, Looptro deletes the retro and everything on it. There is no archive, no warning mail, and no grace period.
The edge is sharp, so plan around it. A retro that you open on Monday and try to finish on Wednesday stops. The board shows a countdown, so you always know how long is left. Copy anything you want to keep before the countdown runs out.
How it works
- Start the retro. Click "Start a retro", pick a template, and type a display name. There is no other form and no verification mail.
- Share the link. Copy the share link and send it to your team. A guest opens it, types a display name, and joins. The link is the only credential, so send it to the people you want in the retro and to nobody else.
- Run the retro. You host. You move the board from Reflect to Group to Vote to Discuss and start the timer for each phase. Everyone sees each change as it happens.
A retro is not a public page. Search engines do not index it, and the link carries a random identifier that nobody guesses.

- A one-off retro that you run today and act on today.

- Asks how the sprint felt before it asks what to do. Use it after a rough sprint, when the mood is the thing nobody has said out loud.

- A slower, four-way look back that keeps what the team learned. Use it at a milestone, a launch, or the end of a project.
- Sailboat (Wind, Anchors, Rocks, Island)
- A picture instead of a list. Use it when the team needs to talk about risk and about the goal, not only about the last two weeks.
